Las Tesoros de San Antonio are a group of women performers, from the predominantly Chicano, Westside of San Antonio, Texas,  with successful singing careers that soared both locally and internationally in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. They include Rita Vidaurri "La Calandria," Beatriz Llamas "La Paloma del Norte," Janet Cortez "Perla Tapatia," and Blanca Rosa "Blanquita Rodriguez" – four strong and talented mujeres who built the foundations for San Antonio’s rich musical cultura. This documentary will showcase and pay tribute to these incredible women, who continue to perform to this day.
